Pacific Spirit was founded by Birgit Lahme and set up with the voluntary help of the following people:

The following people have been crucial to the development of Pacific Spirit and we would like to thank them for their support:
Josef Lahme, for rebuilding the Pacific Spirit offices and for assisting with various administrative tasks.
Marion Lahme, for presenting the products at the trade fairs.
Marika Matanisiga, partner of Birgit, is from the Fiji Islands and has helped with organisational tasks and supporting the company in numerous ways. He has also helped Birgit with insight into the unique cultures and traditions of the South Pacific.
Cecile Bremer took over marketing tasks, design and the website and has helped with decisions during product development. She was enlisted from the beginning in the development of the company and brought her creativity and knowledge. She has a Masters in International Business.
Melanie Vogel has designed and built the decorations for the trade fairs. She also designed the coconut jewellery and hand painted them. She studied decorating and art therapy. She is a fantastic artist and her paintings can be admired at www.kunstvogel.de. She is involved with presenting the products at the trade fairs.
Alisi Navuso, from Fiji, has selected the tapa products and the palm leave handbags. Her family produces the products by hand.
Roxanne Tagg, freelance journalist took over press work for Pacific Spirit and assisted in writing articles for this young company. You can contact her at roxanne.tagg@gmail.com
Patricia Hohman and Sandra Redman have had vital input into developing the products and have spent many evenings testing and assessing product samples.
Beate Zaspel, freelance communication specialist and designer, are responsible for the present appearance of Pacific Spirit. She has created this website, the logo and the labels, Flyer and visiting cards in line with Pacific Spirit ideas. She is an independent web-designer and you can contact her at www.bamedia-koeln.de
